His two starts back this campaign have produced gold and silver performances that would see him topple this field again if matched, and with a blanket going across about ten runners in behind him he is the only one The ‘Cock could have any betting confidence in.

Perfectly easy play in this final leg with a stake on Roman Son (3) at Best of the Best prices the only move worth considering.

Ascot Race 7 - 6:20pm

The ‘Cock is very wary of the lightly raced favourite in this one, Enticing Star (13), who is priced around the $1.70 mark despite resuming from 40 weeks in the paddock. She may be unbeaten in her two outings and absolutely dominant on both occasions, but The ‘Cock believes she’s been priced on potential and brought in further with the Pike factor, so he is happy to take it on even though she could prove to be a prodigy.

The ‘Cock has Speeding Comet (2) rating as the best in this race after a strong last start win at this track and trip, and he would much prefer to buy into the huge overs of $15 that have opened up as a result of the dominant favourite hogging the attention.

Keep your stake small given we cannot be entirely sure of what Enticing Star (13) will produce, but have some change on Speeding Comet (2) at $15 with Bet365 and give yourself the best chance of a massive bonus late in the day.
