It's all about the Sunshine Coast this week with the running of the group 2 UBET Moreton Cup. Fairly open race with The 'Cock's best currently posted at double digit odds.

Morphettville - Race 8
A case of too little too late to salvage a quaddie out of this mess, but at least French Rock (3) provides something worth looking at in this one and takes The ‘Cock’s top billing from Vieira (1), with these two holding a gap to all others.
Not a great deal of pace on the cards but French Rock (3) has got the fitness edge on plenty of this field and was relatively good in a better race than this one over the same course when being beaten by a nose last Saturday.
Only needs to match that effort to account for this lot and off the quick back-up, The ‘Cock fully expects he will do so, so be sure to have a handful on to round out a pretty miserable day in Adelaide.
Recommended Betting Strategy:
Getting $4.80 with Crownbet for French Rock (3) in this one is like getting a juicy half-volley after being bowled unplayable wides all day, so make sure you cash in on it with a medium hand.
Belmont - Race 5
Show Honey (6) for Pike goes on top of this one from Speeding Comet (9) & Rhi’s Rocket (5), though The ‘Cock expects every mug and his dog will be getting on the top-rater and crunching her odds in so you will want to get on quickly.
The pace will be on as all of Dynamite Dream (10), Majinika (1), Rhi’s Rocket (5) and the favourite Super Maxi (4) look to burst out of the blocks and lead, which The ‘Cock thinks will open it up nicely for a late charge from Show Honey (6) late in the piece as she looks to make it three wins in her last four outings.
$7.50 is a very strong price all things considered and The ‘Cock will be getting those overs while they’re hot.
Recommended Betting Strategy:
It’s far from a classic Pike certainty but The ‘Cock likes what Show Honey (6) is bringing to the table and can’t refuse a bite of the $7.50 with Neds.
Sunshine Coast - Race 2
Very similar outlook to race one here in that The ‘Cock has got Miss Exfactor (5) billed as the races standout option from a wall of five or six runners led by Envy Of All (8), Another Sin (4) & Magic Lad (12).
There will be good pace on show and nearly everything in that second tier of runners under Miss Exfactor (5) is capable of hitting the level required to win this on their day, so it’s certainly not the race to be steaming into like a juiced-up front-rower playing reserve grade.
That said, there is enough to like about the top-rater at the $4.60 top quote after a comfortable win on a heavy circuit last time out to warrant another bite, though keep the stake to a moderate one.
Recommended Betting Strategy:
$4.60 with Sportsbet for Miss Exfactor (5) is too good to ignore here so throw some chips over the table for her.
